Work Keeps Me Busy
Things are getting more and more hectic at work these days, Yesterday we had our latex supplier in town to sponsor our Team Meeting, and today the manager from our Mylar Balloon division in Chicago came to town on her way to manage our newest door-to-door office in Kansas.
I’ve began talking more to Aubrey again and we’re slowly picking up where we left off, but we are making no claims of affection and we’re keeping the subject matter about work.
When I got home last night after a grueling fifteen hour day, I was considerate and let Aubrey and Everett know that despite my being buzzed and driving a loaned vehicle that barely had breaks and didn’t have wipers, I made it home. My candidness wasn’t that much appreciate by Everett who said, “I have no room in my heart for such stupidity.”
Everett and I have barely spoken today, though it could be that he’s busy at the People Counting Bauru, I doubt it. I hope to see him on Friday as planned. I am sure once his best friend K makes it back from Portland, I’ll be seeing less and less of him.
